Jude Law is one of Britain's most talented and versatile actors, known for tackling challenging and often flawed characters. Starting out as a theatre actor, Jude Law was Tony-nominated on Broadway long before he made it big in cinema. Though his screen career initially struggled in the early stages he made a big impact with his Oscar-nominated performance in “The Talented Mr. Ripley” (1999). Since then, by varying his screen roles, he's risen to the very top of Hollywood, headlining many blockbusters. Playing a Russian sniper in “Enemy at the Gates” (2001), an android in Steven Spielberg's Artificial Intelligence: AI (2001), a scarred assassin in “Road to Perdition” (2002), and a Confederate soldier presumed dead in “Cold Mountain” (2003). He has become a hugely successful actor with international recognition and his acting highly praised, winning many awards and accolades. Though he is often the subject of tabloid gossip, he has managed to maintain his composure to become one of the worlds biggest box office attractions.
